Beer Bathed Slow Cooker Roast
Ingredients:
4 pounds beef roast, lean and trimmed of fat
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1 bottle beer
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
6 red potatoes, cleaned and cubed
1 1/2 cup baby carrots
1 ½ cup water
Sea salt to taste
Directions:
Pan sear roast in a large skillet with olive oil until brown. Place in slow cooker. Add all other in other ingredients. Cook on low setting for 9
hours, or until roast is done to desired level.
