Crispy Breakfast Oats
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup old fashioned oats
½ cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
¼ cup butter
1 egg, beaten
½ cup sucanat
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and flour.
In a separate bowl, mix together sucanat and butter and cream, using an electric mixer.
Add the egg and mix well.
Stir the mixture into the oats.
Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Enjoy this breakfast treat with fresh fruit or yogurt.
