By the Campfire Beef Dinner

Keep this recipe handy for your next camping trip!

Ingredients:

1 lb. lean ground beef 
1 cup chopped onions 
1 cup thinly sliced carrots 
1 cup finely chopped potatoes 
1 cup water 
1 can (14 oz.) baked beans 
1/2 cup natural BBQ sauce 
1 cup organic shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:
 
Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.  Brown beef being sure to breakup any large chunks. Cook until meat is no longer pink.  Drain beef.  Place beef back in skillet and add onions, potatoes and carrots. Leaving temperature on medium heat cook vegetables and beef for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and add water.  Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes.  Once vegetables are tender to your liking add beans and BBQ Sauce. Stir mixture together well.  Cook 10 minutes or until heated through.  Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese.
