Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole
Ingredients:
1 2-pound bag frozen organic hash browns, thawed
3/4 stick organic butter
1 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can all natural cream of chicken or cream of broccoli soup
2 cups organic sour cream
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
1 1/4 cup shredded organic cheddar cheese or cheddar, Monterey Jack blend
1 cup crushed organic corn cereal
3 tablespoons organic butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend hash browns, stick of butter, soup, sour cream, spices, onions and cheese together. Place in a
casserole or baking dish. Top with corn cereal crumbs and butter. Bake for 1 hour or until bubbling and slightly browned on top.
Variation: Add cubed cooked ham, chicken or turkey for a full entrée, or bacon bits for a smoky flavor.
