Easy Meaty Spaghetti Sauce

Making your own spaghetti sauce is a great way to save money. Homemade sauce is tastier too. Put some up in jars and tie a pretty red checked bow around them and give them away as gifts.

Ingredients:
2 29-ounce cans of tomato sauce
2 9-ounce cans of tomato paste
1 12-ounce or bigger can of diced tomatoes
1 yellow onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped (yellow and red peppers can be added for color)
1 pound of natural (preferably grass fed) ground beef, browned and drained
Olive oil
Garlic, fresh or powdered
Black pepper
Oregano
Sea salt

Directions: Brown ground beef and set aside. In the meantime, oil the bottom of a sauté pan with olive oil and add chopped vegetables and spices to taste. Lightly sauté vegetables. Place tomato sauce, paste and diced tomatoes in a large sauce or simmer pan. Add vegetables, grown beef and simmer. Add garlic, oregano, pepper and salt to taste. Simmer over the lowest heat setting until sauce comes to a boil. For a more opened spice flavor, simmer throughout the day. Serve over pasta of choice.
