Homemade Crunchy Garlic French Fries
French fries are one of the worst foods you can consume, but when you get a craving for some, this one just might be the ticket.
Ingredients:
1 envelope herb and garlic soup mix
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 pounds large red (or all-purpose potatoes)
1/3 cup of olive oil (or melted butter)
Directions:
1. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into wedges.
2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
3. In a large bowl, combine the soup mix with breadcrumbs.
4. Dip potatoes in the butter (or olive oil) and then into the soup mixture until they are evenly coated.
5. On a greased baking sheet, arrange the potatoes into a single layer.
6. Bake the potatoes uncovered for 40 minutes (or until potatoes are tender and golden brown in color).
