Pear Crisp

When it comes to crumbles, crisps, and cobblers, you usually hear about the use of apples, peaches, and various berries, but rarely do you encounter a pear crisp. In this recipe, you can try the combination for yourself, which also calls for pudding and chopped nuts.

Ingredients

1 (29-ounce) can of sliced pears (drained)
1 cup of milk
1 small box of natural instant pudding (vanilla or coconut cream flavor)
3/4 cup of flour
¼ cup of chopped nuts
¼ cup organic butter
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 egg (beaten)
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

1) Place the drained pears in a round baking dish that measures 8 inches.

2) Combine half of the pudding mix (about 5 to 6 tablespoons) with the milk. Pour over the pears.

3) Stir in the remaining pudding mix, flour, nuts and cinnamon.

4) Cut in the butter.

5) Mix the egg and vanilla extract.

6) Stir mixture into dry ingredients.

7) Crumble the mixture over the pears.

8) Bake the dessert for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
