Peppery Indoor Steaks
Ingredients:
½ bottle light beer or ¼ cup bourbon whiskey
4 teaspoons whole peppercorns, crushed
4 6-ounce steaks
3 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 bunch green onions, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Blend beer, crushed peppercorns and garlic together. Place steaks in a baking dish and cover with beer/bourbon blend. Place aluminum foil over
the top and marinate for several hours. (Freshly chopped garlic can substitute powder.) Once marinated, heat olive oil in a large frying pan on
medium-high heat until nearly smoking. Add steaks. Sear both sides, turn burner to medium and sauté until cooked to desired level of doneness. In
a small sauté pan, heat onions and butter together. Pour over steaks and serve.
