Slow Cooker Pot Roast And Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 3- to 4-pound chuck roast
1 package of dry onion soup mix, or natural cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 bag baby carrots
1 yellow or white onion, chopped
5 to 6 red potatoes quartered, or 3 russets, peeled and cubed
1 stalk celery, chopped
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Garlic
Directions:
Sear chuck roast on all sides in a large frying pan over high heat to seal in juices. Place roast in the slow cooker with all over ingredients.
Cover and cook on the lowest setting for 8 hours, or until roast is cooked to desired level.
