Creamy Pasta with Parsley
Ingredients:
Enough pasta for 4 servings, preferably Fettuchini
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Bring lightly salted water to a boil and add pasta. Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.
In the meantime, place heavy cream and butter into a large saucepan over medium heat and stir until butter has melted. Don’t let the mixture get to a boil. Then, stir in grated cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and parsley. Take off the heat and let the sauce sit for a few moments to thicken. Combine with the cooked pasta and serve immediately.
